5th Anniversary     Uzodinma , ALLOW  Your  Govt  To Breath , Your Knees Are On  It’s Neck, Says  Onwuemeodo

…Allow constructive criticism,let governance flow.

“Government isn’t a church service where the congregation would always listen to the priest every Sunday and go home at the end.”

As Imo governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma celebrated his 5th Anniversary since coming on board in January 2015, ex-Chief Press Secretary to the then Governor Rochas Anayo  Okorocha, Hon Samuel  Onwuemeodo,  says  there is a need for the governor “to allow his government to breath ”

Hon Onwuemeodo in a widely published recent article, opined that it was important for the governor “to begin to love the government he heads or leads.”

The former media aide further asserted that Governor Uzodinma administration would do better, if according to him, his “heavy knees” are removed from the neck of his government, adding that government needs some “freedom” to keep moving.

“The lmo Governor seems to hate his government. And it is important to let him know this. To know the need to begin to love the government he heads or leads.

“In case the lmo governor has not known or has not been told, his heavy knees are on the neck of his government. He should remove his knees from the neck of his government. He should allow his government to breath.  To enjoy fresh air. He should give his government ventilation. The governor should grant his government “freedom.”

Speaking further, Onwuemeodo who is the publisher of The Whitepaper Newspaper, reminded the Imo number one citizen that “Government isn’t a church service where the congregation would always listen to the priest every Sunday and go home at the end.

“Even, beyond the Sunday-Sunday services, the churches have  other activities  where worshippers could freely talk. Exchange views or opinions.”

Urging the governor to allow constructive criticisms from the citizens, Onwuemeodo remarked that no government would make significant progress  without constructive criticisms.

He therefore, appealed to  Governor Uzodinma to “order for the release of Ihekweme. And also declare that he has thrown his government open for opposition and criticisms.”
